1. Scope
This policy explains how SG A-Level collects and uses information when you visit the website or use the application. It applies to the SG A-Level service operated through our website and app.
2. Information we collect
- Account information such as email address, nickname, display name, and password hash.
- Learning activity such as practice submissions, ratings, favourites, course visits, progress, and wrong-question records.
- Messages you send to support and information needed to respond to them.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, timestamps, and security logs when needed to protect the service.
We do not store your plain-text password. Email verification and password-reset codes are sent to the address you provide and are stored in protected form where applicable.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, send activation and password-reset emails, provide practice and course features, save progress, enforce access limits, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
4. Service providers
We may use infrastructure and service providers for hosting, databases, email delivery, authentication, monitoring, and application operations. For example, a transactional email provider may process an email address to deliver an activation or password-reset message. Providers may process information outside Singapore and are required to handle it under their applicable terms and safeguards.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and keep appropriate records. We use access controls, encrypted transport, password hashing, and rate limits, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements. You may also stop using the service and contact us about account-related requests. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
7. Cookies and local storage
The application may use necessary browser storage for authentication and preferences. If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies, we will provide appropriate notice and choices before using them where required.
8. Children and education users
The service is not designed to collect unnecessary information from children. Parents, guardians, and educators who have questions about a learner’s account should contact us so we can handle the request appropriately.
9. Contact
